I really enjoyed the vlog on community bathrooms at Regis, not only because it is relatable, but also because it was engaging. It was very different from a vlog where someone just sits in front of their recording device and talks. However, using Casual Steve's advice, she could have known her information a little better so she wasn't constantly looking down at her notes. Then, she could make more eye contact with the camera. Also, she could have cut out some of the awkward pauses where she wasn't quite sure what she was saying next. Other than that, she seemed in a good and happy mood, ready to record her vlog!

Looking at the Regis bathroom blog again, quite frankly she didn't look all there, she seemed very nervous or worried about something and didn't necessarily seem to be in a happy mood as she seemed adamant about doing the vlog and didn't really have any organized thoughts. She should have tried to hold the camera closer to herself and speak clearly in order to convey a clear message.

I agree with Sara that the Vlog about community bathrooms was very relatable and it was presented in a very engaging way that got your attention. It was easy to follow along and not get bored with the video. Although, the video was interesting to watch, it would have been better if it wasn't so scripted and if it directly talked to the audience as suggested in Casual Steve's advice. I also thought that the Bechtal test video was very effective. She talked directly too us in the camera without looking away or at a script. It was very well put together and she provided us with good information on the Bechtal test and how to recognize whether movies pass it or not.

I agree with Sarah about the vlog about Regis community bathrooms. It's easier to watch things that you can relate to. Another suggestion I would make is to talk to the camera as if you were talking to a friend, as suggested in Steve's video. It makes it easier for the audience to watch when you aren't just reading a script.

I agree with Sarah and Sofi about the community bathrooms vlog. It is very relatable which automatically makes it more interesting and intriguing. I think the information from Casual Steve's vlog was also very helpful, especially when he talked about being in a good mood when vlogging and how to talk to the camera as if it were your friend because that will make the vlog better.

I agree with Sara, I enjoyed the community bathrooms vlog the best because it was different. When a vlog is different it makes it easier and more fun to watch. The community bathrooms vlog followed Casual Steves advice really well with just being happy especially in the time you are recording. Casual Steves advice was really helpful not only with the being happy part, but also the advice about doing vlog's in front of a window for good lighting and also acting as if you are talking to a friend, to make the vlog even better.

I agree with Dana about the community bathroom vlog being different, which makes it more appealing and engaging for the viewers. Adding on to this idea, I think it was a hilariously honest vlog. The vlogger's honesty intrigued me and kept me wondering what she was going to say next. It was a topic that I might be uncomfortable talking about, so I give her credit for choosing it! Going off of Casual Steve's vlogging advice, I think she was acting peppy and happy, but she could have made better eye contact. I think it would have been more engaging if she made better eye contact and acted like it was less of a script. However, I did like the originality in having someone else record and not just holding up the camera in front of her face. I think it would have been really funny if she showed some examples of when the bathroom is a mess, so we could actually see what she was talking about.

Please don't solely focus on the Community Bathroom vlog. I realize this is the first vlog on that site but there are three other vlogs to also watch which vary greatly in topic as well as style.

I really enjoyed the Bechtel test video. It was truly astonishing to see how many movies did not pass the test. It was a style all its own with a unique take on how women's roles affect movies. Like everybody else, I found the community bathroom vlog to be engaging and kind of funny. The intro to vlogging video really pointed out key parts about not only the vlog but about how to incorporate your personality into it and really make it shine.

Casual Steve advised people to look into the lens, have good audio, and edit your video. I agree with Sarah that the community bathroom vlog could have been edited. I also think they could have had better audio, but it did seem like she had fun with it. Comparing that vlog to the Bechdel Test vlog, even though it looked like she was reading something, she looked like she was looking at the lens. That made it not as obvious. The audio was great, the topic was interesting, and she did a good job editing it.

i agree about the bechdel test vlog. It was different and unique to the other blogs and i feel like she did a good job using casual stoves advice. She was looking at the sense and looked comfortable during her vlog. And i concur that the audio and vision were also good.

I agree with Sarah and I thought the Regis bathroom video was great. However, I enjoyed Briana Barkocy's procrastination video. I thought she had a lot of character in her voice and used humor as a way to tell her story. In addition it was a very relatable topic, for I, am a huge procrastinator. She followed Steve's advice by looking into the lens and knowing her content/what she was going to talk about.

I agree with Sarah, the vlog about the community bathrooms was creatively done and engaging. She seemed passionate about the topic she was talking about but wasn't overly energetic. I liked how she was positioned in a sitting and comfortable position; it provided for a more comfortable and conversational feel. I do think she could have cleaned up her delivery and could have used her notes less but overall it was a good vlog.

To me the Bechdel Test was the best video of them all. I think this for a couple of reasons. One:it had the best audio of them all, I could clearly hear what she was saying. Two: she seemed to know what she was talking about without it sounding robotic or script read. And Three: she looked into the right part of the camera. However something I think all the bloggers struggled with was proper lighting, this could be a combination of poor dorm lighting and or low quality cameras. Overall the Bechdel test video engaged me the most and even had me look up some movies that were on her list that I loved, I also believe she best used Casual Steves advice.

Like Kristian I liked the Bechdel Test vlog, it was the best it terms of edits and interest. The procrastination vlog also was interesting. I disliked the bathroom vlog as it was poorly edited, poorly lit, and she wasn't a very convincing speaker. I think the video of Casual Steve's was beneficial in tips to make vlogs their best and am planning on using his tips while making my own.

I liked the Bechdel Test vlog because it was edited well and was interesting to me. I didn't like the bathroom vlog because it didn't follow Steve's tips from his video. Steve's tips were helpful to me and I will incorporate them into my vlog.
